A people analytics workspace I designed to turn HR, payroll, workforce and talent data into decision-ready insight for leaders while keeping privacy, metric governance and action planning central to the workflow.
98%Data completeness scenario used in the demo workflow.
24Departments represented in the sample people dataset.
16Dashboard views for workforce, retention and planning analysis.
The Business Problem
People teams often have data spread across HRIS, payroll, attendance, recruitment, performance, learning and engagement systems. Leaders need answers quickly, but each question can become a manual data exercise.
The risk is that workforce decisions are made from partial evidence: headcount without attrition context, hiring plans without absence trends or retention conversations without engagement and tenure signals.
The product goal is to move HR from static reporting to decision-ready people insight.
What I Built
I designed HR Insight Hub as an enterprise people analytics platform that connects HR, payroll, workforce and talent data into a governed metrics layer. The platform supports executive KPI cards, drill-down dashboards, filters, departmental views, workforce planning and action-oriented summaries.
The demo keeps employee-level privacy in mind while still helping managers identify workforce pressure, attrition risk, engagement gaps and planning priorities.
Solution Architecture
The architecture moves from HR data sources through ingestion, quality checks, modelling, analytics logic, insight experience and action support. Privacy and governance are embedded so sensitive people data is handled responsibly.
Architecture view: HR data sources, data quality, metrics layer, analytics engine, insight experience, action support, privacy controls and business use cases.
The Analytics Logic
The model combines core HR metrics with advanced insight areas: headcount trends, attrition and retention, hiring funnel analytics, leave and absenteeism, diversity and representation, compensation analysis, performance distribution and training compliance.
Advanced views can surface attrition indicators, tenure patterns, workforce planning scenarios, hiring-vs-overtime trade-offs and productivity or workforce pressure signals.
Where It Creates Value
HR leadership can use the hub to review workforce health and retention priorities. Finance can understand workforce cost and planning pressure. People managers can see team-level signals before problems become visible through resignations or performance decline.
The product is useful when the organization needs better people decisions, not just more HR charts.
Controls And Governance
The design includes role-based access, metric governance, controlled sensitive-data handling, auditability, quality ownership and UAT or release control. This is important because people analytics must be trusted by leadership and fair to employees.
The Value In One Sentence
HR Insight Hub demonstrates how I turn people data into privacy-aware analytics that improves workforce planning, attrition review, talent decisions and executive visibility.
